Primary Purpose
Provide ROTC students with appropriate learning experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth; enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. These learning experiences may occur face to face or virtually in a distance learning environment. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.

Retired US Army NCO
Certified by US Army Cadet Command
Special Knowledge/Skills- Effective communication, interpersonal and public relations skills
- Familiar with the Army Regulations 145-2
- Familiar with CC Form 214R, the Army’s evaluation system
- Familiar with principles of instruction
Retired from the US Army and drawing retirement salary
Major Responsibilities and Duties- Serve as the SAI in the absence of the Senior Army Instructor.
- Perform duties of principal recruiter.
- Coach Color Guard and Drill Team as a minimum.
- Coach other teams as directed by the SAI.
- Advise the Cadet Battalion Non-Commissioned Officer staff.
- Serve as principal drill instructor.
- Serve as property specialist.
- Serve as principle instructor for LET 1 and LET 2 cadets.
- Supervise the Cadet Senior Non-Commissioned Officers.
- Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned by the SAI.

- Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
- Stay up-to-date professionally through the selection of quality professional learning opportunities for personal growth.

- Participate as an effective team member who contributes to district, department, and content goals.
- Demonstrates proficient levels of technology applications.
- Participates fully in drills and safety exercises to provide for the safety and overall emotional wellbeing of students.
- Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.
- Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.
- Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.
- Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.
- Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).
- Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Demands/Environmental FactorsFrequent district wide travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours; exposure to various weather conditions. May include work from home or location other than school building; internet access, phone; prolonged sitting; repetitive computer work with frequent use of hands and wrists
