Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as a peer mentor to residents on their wing/floor/hall
- Reach out to residents, participate in meetings, and work on a team
- Write concise, factual, and non-judgmental incident report forms and other administrative tasks
- Recognize and respond to emergencies and resident concerns, and connect students to campus resources
- Plan, budget, and organize programs and activities for residents to build community and a sense of belonging
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student at UND for Fall 2026
- Must have lived in on-campus housing for at least one full semester prior to starting the position
- Must meet residence hall eligibility requirement and reside in assigned room throughout the terms of their employment
- Must be 18 years of age or older by August 1, 2026
- Ability to stand 3-4 hours at a time
- Ability to lift/move 30-45 pounds
- Ability to use stairs
- Ability to withstand loud noises and blinking lights (for fire drills and evacuations)
- Ability to walk for 1-2 hours at a time
- Ability to perform job tasks during late evening and early morning hours as needed
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
- Applicants may not hold outside employment, internship, CFI, or student teach during their term of employment.
- Verification of college course cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher at start of employment
