- Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams.
- Flexibly teach evenings and weekends as required.
- Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning and engagement.
- Align instructional strategies with CIAT’s adult learner framework and certification readiness.
- Modify methods and strategies to meet diverse students’ needs.
- Use appropriate teaching strategies to communicate subject matter in a synchronous online format.
- Maintain current certifications in subjects taught.
- Actively maintain certifications in the subject area(s) taught.
- Demonstrate thorough and accurate knowledge of the field.
- Connect subject matter with related fields.
- Stay current through professional development, professional organizations, conferences and workshops.
- Design, update, and align course materials with adult learning standards.
- Select instructional materials that align with course objectives.
- Maintain curriculum up‑to‑date.
- Review course material for accuracy and relevance, recommending improvements.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards for instructional quality.
- Maintain accurate student attendance and grade records.
- Comply with accreditation, instructional hours, and CIAT policies.
- Promote collaboration with staff and participate in new projects.
- Adhere to CIAT business casual attire guidelines.
- Maintain FERPA compliance and secure student data.
- Appropriate certification in one or more of the listed disciplines.
- Minimum one year of teaching experience in IT certification bootcamps.
- Advanced subject matter expertise preferred.
- Experience with synchronous online teaching.
- Experience in curriculum development and instructional design for IT bootcamps.
- Familiarity with Cert Master, Test Out, or similar tools.
- Effective presentation skills.
- High flexibility, creativity, and dependability.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and learning technologies (Canvas, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong multitasking and rapid problem‑solving skills.
- Collaborative, inclusive, and supportive learning environment commitment.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in higher education.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

This variable‑hour role is usually Monday through Friday, with possible weekend hours. Live bootcamp classes are scheduled Monday‑Friday or Saturday‑Sunday for 8 hours per day; exact times to be determined.
