looking for local candidates only, currently residing in bay area/near work location-livermore. Assignment is hybrid and required on-site for quarterly and milestone meetings(10%). Ppe will be require for some on-site visits. This is to be expensed by the candidate and should be expensed after purchase for reimbursement. Mileage, meals and lodging will be reimbursed for on-site collaboration, and milestone meetngs outside of headquarter location.

  • -log design and develop instructor-led and on-the-job training for apprenticeships in the power generation utility industry.
  • develop learning materials for technical content, including hands‑on practice activities, student guides, facilitator guides, scenarios, videos, assessments, simulations, and other instructional media.
  • perform a detailed task analysis for each job function, business process, or system for which training will be developed.
  • define learning objectives, and course structure aligned to stakeholder needs and to meet the constraints of the learning environment.
  • work under the direction ofopedia senior instructional designer to apply company standards, guidelines, and templates.

  • experienced in power point, word, excel, and teams.
  • self‑manage assigned tasks and deadlines to complete deliverables on time.
  • work closely with team and subject matter experts to proactively communicate concerns, issues and risks.

  • experience with hydroelectric operations, mechanical engineering, or machining.
  • master’s degree in instructional design or education related areas of study.
