Job Summary
Under the direction of Home Based Supervisor or other program administrator, provide or arrange for comprehensive Early Head Start services (including education, health & safety, family support, nutrition, mental health, family engagement and other services appropriate) for up to twenty four (24) assigned pregnant women.

Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services or closely related field including a minimum of 24 units in any combination of Early childhood Education, Child Development, or related field. At least one (1) year of experience in Child Development or a related field. Experience working with pregnant women preferred. Bilingual/Bi-literate skills are desirable.
Documents Required at Time of Application
Child Development Teacher Permit or Higher-Level Permit issued by the CTC. Copy of Unofficial Transcripts. Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification. California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit with a minimum 6 units infant/toddler care and development required or a minimum 3 units of infant/toddler care and development with Permit Teacher or higher-level permit required.
