Are you an experienced plumbing and gas professional looking to make a real difference? We’re recruiting an Assessor/Trainer to join a busy, high-performing Construction Department in the Cambridgeshire area. This is an exciting opportunity to share your industry expertise and help shape the next generation of skilled professionals.

• Deliver engaging, high-quality training, coaching, and support to apprentices
• Conduct workplace assessments and progress reviews
• Monitor and accurately track apprentice progress
• Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment (EPA)
• Build strong professional relationships with employers across the region
• Contribute to business development and employer engagement activities
• Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and Health & Safety requirements
• Maintain clear and comprehensive records and documentation

This role offers agile working, blending on-site delivery, workplace visits, and remote administrative work from home.

• Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Plumbing
• Strong, relevant industry experience
• Assessor and/or IQA qualifications (desirable)
• Teaching or assessing experience (desirable)
• Solid understanding of Apprenticeship Standards and EPA requirements
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence with digital systems and tools
• Flexible, professional, and collaborative approach
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a business-insured vehicle, or ability to travel across Cambridgeshire and neighbouring counties

All appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including an Enhanced DBS with Barred List check.
