ADED 2P22–Gender in Adult Learning

This is a half credit ( course of 36 contact hours in a duration offered inunit increments over approximately6weeks, asynchronously (though within defined weekly windows of time), fully online.
There are no on-campus meeting requirements for this position.
Compensation:Approximately $6, per half course(195 hours) or $13, per full course(390 hours).

Duties of the Adult Education Online Instructor (Stipend Contract, non-union):
Under the supervision of the Adult Education Director and Program Committee, the role is responsible for instructional duties, including a high level of academic direction, insight, and feedback to learners enrolled in the course as well as instructional preparation and support duties that include student consultation, preparation, grading, virtual office hours and other course administration.
Facilitate the learning experience in an exemplary manner that adheres to current adult education principles and practices,demonstratea high levelof instructor presence, stimulate discussion, and foster learner engagement to support the development of an academic learning community. Develop engaging instructional resources (video, screencast, or podcast) that provide insight and feedback to learners on a weekly basis.
Assess and evaluate course assignments while providing meaningful andtimelyfeedback to learners according to program policies and standards.
Use Brightspaceas the primary instructional tool for online courses.
Utilize the course curriculum as authorized by the Adult Education Director and Program Committee, while also providingappropriate academicoversight and input (via a formal report) regardingthe ongoing relevance and effectiveness of course resources, assignments, and assessment tools and…
