Position Summary:

An introduction to the practices, aesthetics and techniques of contemporary stage set, costume and lighting performance design through text, filmed productions and interviews with international stage artists. The course will cover collage 2- and 3-dimensional rendering techniques.

Position Requirements
  • Ability to teach across a range of design practices in Theatre production design, with experience covering 2- and 3-dimensional rendering techniques.
  • An MFA degree in theatre costume and set design preferred, and/or equivalent professional practice.
  • Preference also given to those with university teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching remotely, familiarity with UR Courses/Moodle (or other Online Learning Environment), and Zoom.

NOTE :
This course will be offered WEB-Delivered only. There will be no face‑to‑face component. Individuals who are interested in and have the capacity to teach via remote delivery are invited to apply.

All applicants, including those who have previously taught this course face to face, are required to provide detailed outlining how they will facilitate curriculum and pedagogy in this new mode of delivery.
