Brass Tutor Vacancy
3 ½ days a week
Barnsley Music Service are seeking to recruit a Brass Tutor to commence employment from w/c 13th April 2026.
The Role Involves- Teaching brass instruments to whole classes of Key Stage 2 age children in primary schools.
- Teaching brass to small groups (3-4 children) and individuals in primary and secondary schools.
- Conducting after-school bands.
- Working 3 ½ days per week with opportunity to expand.
- Must include a Tuesday and Friday (other days flexible).
- Opportunity to work with an outstanding team of music tutors, with amazing young people and in excellent schools.
- Permanent, salaried position on Teachers’ terms and conditions (unqualified scale 3-6 depending on experience) with pay during school holidays.
- Term time working pattern with the benefit of school holidays.
- Access to Teachers’ pension.
- Corporate Laptop and support.
- Mileage expenses between schools.
