Health and Social Care Apprenticeship Training Advisor / Trainer Assessor
A fantastic opportunity for a Health and Social Care professional to deliver apprenticeship training, assessment and learner support across Wales. This remote role focuses on training delivery, safeguarding, quality assurance and learner progress within adult education.

SALARY: £26,500 per annum (unqualified) / £27,500 per annum (qualified), rising to £28,840 per annum on successful completion of probation + Benefits
LOCATION: Home based with travel to your caseload of learners covering North Wales.

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 Hours per Week

JOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Health and Social Care Apprenticeship Training Advisor / Trainer Assessor to deliver apprenticeship frameworks across Wales within the adult education and training provider sector.
As a Health and Social Care Apprenticeship Training Advisor / Trainer Assessor you will support learners through induction, assessment, portfolio building and ongoing progress reviews, ensuring high-quality training delivery, safeguarding compliance and achievement against Welsh Government profiles.
The Health and Social Care Apprenticeship Training Advisor / Trainer Assessor will work remotely, managing learner caseloads, maintaining documentation, supporting quality assurance processes and contributing to continuous professional development and inspection standards.

DUTIESYour duties as the Health and Social Care Apprenticeship Training Advisor / Trainer Assessor include:
- Deliver Apprenticeship Frameworks: Provide high-quality training, assessment and support across Health and Social Care programmes
- Manage Learner Caseloads: Plan, monitor and review individual learning plans and achievement targets
- Conduct Reviews and Workshops: Complete inductions, learner visits, progress reviews and structured workshops
- Maintain Compliance Documentation: Ensure all internal and external paperwork meets organisational, awarding body and Welsh Government standards
- Support Quality Assurance: Participate in internal and external audits and submit learner portfolios for IQA in line with procedures
- Track Performance Targets: Achieve recruitment and achievement targets aligned to performance and commercial budgets
- Promote Safeguarding and Equality: Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and equal opportunities policies
- Engage in Professional Development: Participate in monthly performance reviews, staff development and standardisation meetings
- Maintain Secure Working Practices: Take responsibility for equipment, data security and ISO quality standards including ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001
- Relevant industry qualifications in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or above
- A1 (D32/33), TAQA or CAVA qualification (or willingness to work towards)
- Previous experience in Health and Social Care
- Proven experience of training delivery, assessment or learner support
- Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English
- Good ICT skills and experience using digital systems to support teaching and learning
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices and compliance requirements
- Ability to prioritise workload and work independently and as part of a team
