As a tutor for Cosmo 1:1, you will have a flexible and consistent schedule that you set, teaching ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong using the Cosmo curriculum.

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
• Submit class feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff
• Engage students in a welcoming and fun learning environment, maintaining a passionate and kind demeanor
• Be reliable role model: arrive well prepared, on time, and ready to teach

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K‑12 in ELA
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and curriculum
• Experience teaching ESL learners
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1
• Available between 8‑2 PM GMT Monday‑Friday or 5 AM – 2 PM GMT on weekends
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability per week
• Access to a private and quiet location
• Passion for helping students learn
• Currently located in the UK
• Approachable, patient, adaptive, considerate, enthusiastic, and reliable teaching style
