Ready to step away from frontline youth work and use your experience to inspire the next generation? This is a rare opportunity to move into a trainer role where your impact reaches far beyond one setting — shaping future Youth Support Workers through high-quality apprenticeship delivery.

About the Company

This organisation is a respected and well-established training provider within the youth and community sector, known for putting learners and staff at the heart of everything they do. They champion innovation in blended learning, invest in professional development, and offer a supportive, flexible working culture where quality and wellbeing genuinely matter.

What’s on offer:

* Competitive salary with clear progression opportunities

* Predominantly remote working with flexibility built in

* Comprehensive onboarding and ongoing CPD, including assessor training if required

* A values-led culture focused on making a real difference to young people’s lives

The Job

As a Youth Support Worker Trainer, you’ll deliver and assess Level 3 Youth Support Worker apprenticeships, supporting learners to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to thrive in the sector.

Your role will include:

* Delivering engaging blended learning programmes, primarily online with some face-to-face delivery

* Assessing apprentices against Level 3 standards and supporting them throughout their programme

* Coaching learners, tracking progress, and providing high-quality, tailored feedback

* Working closely with employers to ensure workplace learning meets apprenticeship requirements

* Preparing learners for End Point Assessment

* Contributing to curriculum development and quality improvement activities

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll be a passionate youth work professional looking to transition into training, or an experienced trainer with a strong sector background.

You will ideally have:

* A JNC-recognised Youth Work qualification (Level 3 or Degree), or a related degree (e.g. Community Development or Social Work) with substantial youth work experience

* Experience working in youth services or community-based environments

* A recognised Assessor/Tutor qualification, or the willingness to work towards one (full support provided)

* Strong communication and digital skills to deliver engaging online learning

* The ability and flexibility to travel across the region as required
