Salary: £24,122 per annum
This is a 12 month fixed term student placement opportunity starting in June 2026.
Please note that this role is only open to NTU students. Applications from those not a current student at NTU will not be considered.
AboutThe Role
Here at NTU we're proud to offer placement opportunities to our students and are looking to recruit a Job Shop Recruitment Assistant (Student Placement) to work in our Employability team.
This opportunity focuses on employer engagement, to maximise opportunities for our students to secure part-time employment whilst studying will have a genuine impact on the future careers of our students, by providing them with valuable opportunities to connect with local employers, develop essential skills and gain work experience.
NTU's Job Shop service allows NTU students access to paid opportunities with local employers and across the University. You will actively identify, qualify and advertise job roles from across the regional job market.

Responsibilities- Focus on employer engagement to maximise opportunities for students to secure part-time employment while studying at NTU.
- Identify, qualify and advertise job roles from across the regional job market.
- Support the Job Shop service in providing paid opportunities with local employers and across the University.
- Collaborate with the Employability team to contribute to placement initiatives and student development.
- Hybrid working - mix of office and home working with flexibility to define how you work.
- Flexibility in working patterns and approaches.
