About the role
Ruvimo is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Online English Tutor to join our dynamic team. As an Online English Tutor, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality educational support to students, helping them excel in ELA, Literature. This is a part-time role based for tutors based in Philippines, allowing you to work flexibly and around your other commitments.
What you'll be doing
Developing and delivering engaging, interactive online math lessons to k12 students based in the US.
Assessing students' strengths, weaknesses and learning needs to tailor your approach and provide personalised support
Monitoring student progress, providing timely feedback and adjusting lesson plans accordingly
Collaborating with parents and guardians to ensure a cohesive learning experience for students
Maintaining detailed records of student progress and lesson plans
Participating in regular training and development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and technologies
What we're looking for
A bachelor's degree in Literature, English, Education or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience as a English Tutor online
Excellent knowledge of ELA, grammer concepts and the ability to explain them clearly and effectively
Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
Proficiency in using online teaching platforms and technologies
Patience, creativity and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
Flexible and adaptable approach to accommodate the needs of diverse learners
