Role Description
This is a full-time, remote position for an Online Middle School Maths Teacher supporting US students. The teacher will design and deliver engaging virtual lessons aligned with middle school mathematics standards, including topics such as Algebra and foundational math concepts. Responsibilities include assessing student progress, providing personalized feedback, creating curriculum materials, and fostering an interactive and supportive online learning environment. Collaboration with the team to ensure academic success and regular communication with students and parents are integral to the role.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and expertise in Mathematics, including Algebra and other middle school math concepts
Experience in Middle School and Mathematics Education, with the ability to engage younger learners virtually
Proficiency in Curriculum Development, lesson planning, and assessment creation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Familiarity with online education tools and virtual classroom platforms
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (teaching certifications preferred)
Prior online teaching experience and knowledge of the US educational system are a plus
