Blossomfield Campus

25.5 hours per week

Salary up to £19,164.97 per annum

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to be a part of our Open Access Team as a Digital Learning Facilitator. This post is based at our Blossomfield Campus but will also require work and collaboration across all Solihull College & University Centre campuses and in some cases remote working.

The post-holder will play a pivotal role in supporting students in achieving their learning aims, developing their digital skills and becoming independent learners. Strong communication and team working skills are essential, as the successful applicant will provide support for students and staff. The successful applicant will also require excellent digital skills, as they will work with the Learning Technologies Team to drive the development of Learning Technology across the College and will provide support to staff and students in the use of technology for learning.

Applicants should have experience of providing high quality customer service, have excellent interpersonal skills and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).

Experience of working in a Learning Centre environment and delivering skills development sessions to students would be an advantage.

Working pattern

The current hours for this role are:

* Monday: 09:00 - 15:00

* Tuesday: 11:30 - 19:30 (including a 30-minute break)

* Thursday: 09:00 - 15:00

* Friday: 09:00 - 15:00

There is some flexibility in the Monday, Thursday and Friday hours. However, availability to work until 19:30 on Tuesdays is essential.
