About
The Role
The Mastery Pathway Facilitator will create and deliver the Mastery Program in Science for learners across Grades 1–8.
The role focuses on strengthening core concepts, closing learning gaps, and building durable academic skills through structured instruction, guided practice, and continuous feedback in a live online environment.
This role is ideal for an educator who is data-driven, learner-centric, and skilled in differentiated instruction, with the ability to drive measurable learning outcomes and build learner confidence across core subjects.
The facilitator will ensure consistent implementation of the Mastery Pathway model—diagnostic-led grouping, levelled progression, and continuous assessment while aligning with the organization's Non-Negotiables:

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation, Instruction & Learning Delivery
Create content for the Mastery online classes
Deliver live online classes through the LMS, implement the weekly mastery learning cycle, facilitate levelled batches ensuring active participation and engagement and differentiate instruction to support mixed-ability learners within ability-based groups.
Build learner skills across:
○ English: fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, writing, and speaking confidence
○ Mathematics: number sense, accuracy, reasoning, and multi-step problem solving
○ Science: conceptual understanding, scientific reasoning, application of concepts, and ability to explain phenomena
Create a safe, inclusive, and interactive virtual classroom environment
Assessment & Progress Monitoring
Administer and analyse baseline diagnostics for learner placement
Conduct monthly, quarterly and end of year assessments to track progression of learners
Personalisation & Intervention
Leverage assessment data to identify individual learning gaps and tailor instruction to each learner's readiness level—enabling acceleration beyond grade expectations for advanced learners, while providing structured support for those building foundational understanding.
Design and implement targeted interventions, including remediation and enrichment pathways, ensuring every learner progresses with clarity and confidence at their own pace.
Foster a culture of self-directed learning by encouraging reflection, self-assessment, and goal-setting—helping learners develop consistency, self-correction, and the confidence to take ownership of their learning journey.
Parent & Learner Engagement
Participate in parent + learner orientation sessions
Communicate learner progress through structured updates and provide actionable insights.
Guide parents on supporting learning at home (without direct teaching)
Build strong learner motivation and ownership of progress
Resource Utilisation & Classroom Practice
Effectively use digital learning platforms, worksheets and practice tools, and digital resources
Facilitate theme-based and real-world application tasks across subjects
Assign and review home practice and reflection tasks
Ensure consistent use of interactive teaching strategies in online classrooms
Collaboration & Culture
Work closely with Academic Coordinators, Training Team, and Program Leads
Contribute to continuous improvement of instructional practices and learner outcomes
Maintain high standards of professional communication and documentation
Demonstrate openness to feedback and commitment to continuous professional growth
Selection Criteria
Education
Bachelor's/Master's degree in English, Mathematics, Science, Education, or related field
B.Ed. (preferred)
Experience
3–6 years of teaching experience (Grades 1–8 preferred)
Experience in online teaching / EdTech environments is highly desirable
Experience in differentiated instruction, or skill-based programs preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong subject expertise in Mathematics with understanding of mastery learning and diagnostic-based instruction
Differentiated instruction for mixed-ability classrooms
Assessment literacy and data-driven teaching and ability to track and analyse learner progress effectively
Ability to build conceptual clarity and application skills
Strong classroom facilitation and engagement skills (online)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
High ownership, attention to detail, and learner-first mindset
Comfort working in a remote, structured, and performance-driven environment
