Send Co Role Overview

As SENDCo at Civitas Academy you will manage the provision for pupils identified as having Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND), including promoting high‑quality teaching, effective use of resources, and high standards of learning and achievement for all pupils. You will work with and alongside our Education, Welfare and Pastoral Lead to ensure effective provision for all pupils with additional needs.

• Oversee SEND provision across the school
• Collaborate with the Education, Welfare and Pastoral Lead
• Promote high‑quality teaching and effective use of resources
• Maintain high standards of learning and achievement for all pupils

• Able to make learning engaging, inclusive and fun
• Willing to contribute to the wider life of the school
