Join the Elev8 - DESK Program as a full-time Online Learning Lead Teacher specializing in Humanities courses. Bring your expertise with D2L/Brightspace to our summer education team.

We're looking for a passionate Online Learning Lead Teacher to educate students in various Humanities subjects. This role includes assisting fellow teachers in mastering digital tools and guiding new students through registration and course selection. Your innovative teaching practices will enhance online learning experiences for diverse learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Humanities courses using D2L/Brightspace technology

• Train other educators in online teaching applications

• Guide student intake, registration, and course choices

• Modify course offerings based on enrollment needs

• Foster an interactive and supportive online space

Requirements:

• Must hold a British Columbia Professional Teaching Certificate

• Experience in online education with D2L/Brightspace

• Knowledgeable in multiple Humanities disciplines

• Ability to cater to diverse student populations

• Support for Indigenous equity hiring initiatives
