About This Faculty Role
The HTS Online team invites applications for a Long Term Occasional Teacher for Senior Math, Physics, and Chemistry subjects, covering six sections. The successful educator will design, deliver, and assess synchronous and asynchronous programs that are dynamic, personalized, and engaging, fostering learners’ curiosity and connecting learning to real life. The role emphasizes student‑centered learning, collaboration, and the HTS values of respect, integrity, courage, and empathy.

- Experience teaching virtually or an additional qualification in online teaching is an asset.
- Deep knowledge of the Ontario curriculum and Growing Success Policies.
- Knowledge of Ontario’s 21st‑century competencies.
- Expertise in differentiating instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
- Experience with curriculum design such as PBL, Backward Design, or UDL.
- Willingness to collaborate with community members and integrate curriculum opportunities.
- Experience working from an equity framework and learner‑centered instructional approaches.
- Experience integrating technology into learning environments.
