Position: Elev8 Online Science and Math Educator
Join Elev8 (DESK Program) as an online teacher for senior high Science and Math this summer. The role requires proven expertise in the D2L/Brightspace platform and a valid BC Professional Teaching Certificate.

This 0.9286 FTE term position primarily involves delivering courses like Chemistry, Anatomy, and Pre-Calculus to high school students. Flexibility in course offerings based on enrollment is expected. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging online lessons for senior high courses

• Employ D2L/Brightspace effectively during remote instruction

• Monitor and assess student engagement and understanding

• Provide timely feedback on assignments and tests

• Collaborate with faculty for continuous course improvement

Requirements:

• Certification in British Columbia or eligible for certification

• Experience in teaching high school Science and Math

• Familiarity with online teaching platforms

• Effective communication and organizational skills

• Commitment to equity in education
