301H1. This role focuses on online lectures and interactive teaching for human physiology courses.
The University of Toronto is seeking a Sessional Lecturer for the Summer Session 2026. This appointment involves delivering eight online lectures emphasizing cardiovascular and renal systems. Required qualifications include a PhD in physiology, experience in large classes, and knowledge of the Quercus platform.
Key Responsibilities:
• Present 8 online lectures utilizing pre-recorded material
• Facilitate online help sessions for student inquiries
• Create exam questions and assessments
• Collaborate with the Course Director on course content
• Ensure inclusive accessibility for all students
Requirements:
• PhD in physiology or relevant discipline
• Prior teaching experience in physiology
• Familiarity with Quercus platform
• Teaching experience with PSL
300/301 courses preferred
• Commitment to inclusive educational practices
Contribute to enriching student learning experiences through engaging online physiology instruction.
