Position: .25 Teacher DL Plus:
Koinonia Christian School - Red Deer Society is an Alberta accredited school authority, with three schools:
Koinonia@Home, providing home education and distance learning programs, Emmaus Learning Community, a designated special education private school, and Red Deer Campus, a campus-based K-12 school. All candidates for any position at Koinonia Christian School - Red Deer must be in agreement with our Statement of Faith. Candidates must also provide a clean criminal record and child welfare information system check.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Education Alberta Interim or Permanent Teaching Certificate or Letter of Authority Adherence to the Koinonia Christian Education Society Statement of Faith, without reservation

Canadian resident

Applicants for a teaching role in KCSRD are required to submit the following documents:

Resume Personal testimony of salvation

Your philosophy of education

Two references including one from a pastor and a professional reference

Transcripts or evaluations if available

Criminal record check that includes Vulnerable Sector.
25 Teachers DL Plus:
This teacher would come into the location once a week and teach a face-to-face lesson to students enrolled in our DL courses. It is additional support. What courses are supported will depend on what teachers we can find in that area. They would be responsible only for the lessons they taught that week and would be available online one more time.

Science/Math Specialist and Humanities Specialists. We are looking in the Okotoks Area, North of Calgary, and La Crete.

We would love to combine more than one of our jobs together for the right applicants to raise fte.
