Position: Alternative Provision (14-19) Learning Coach - Construction

About the Role

We are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for an Alternative Provision Learning Coach to support learners and teaching staff on our 14-16 pathway. If you are passionate about transforming lives through education and thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

As an Alternative Provision Learning Coach, you will support learners across various groups, including those on the 14-19 provision pathways, fostering their academic, personal, and social development. You will assist during both structured sessions and unstructured times, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for engagement and growth.

Safeguarding & Legal Requirements
  • All staff have a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of learners.
  • All new starters must complete required pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
  • For roles involving direct interaction with learners, registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is mandatory.

Arrangements

Roles are campus-based to support teaching, learner experience and service delivery. Postholders may request flexible working, including limited remote working, under the College’s Flexible Working Process. Requests are considered individually based on role needs and service coverage. Candidates or employees with accessibility or reasonable adjustment needs are encouraged to discuss these with the People & Culture team.
