As an Academic Program Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in the lives of undergraduate students at the University of Alberta. Your primary responsibilities include guiding students through their academic programs, advocating for their success, and ensuring they receive the necessary support. This position is located at North Campus and allows you to influence student services positively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help BCom students navigate academic program requirements
• Serve as a key point of contact and student champion
• Enhance student support systems and services
• Collaborate with faculty and staff on academic success initiatives
• Track student engagement and wellness resources
Requirements:
• Background in academic advising or student services
• Strong knowledge of undergraduate program dynamics
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Capacity to work in a hybrid environment
• Dedication to fostering student well-being
