The position starts on June 8 and lasts until the incumbent returns. You will be teaching students various subjects, including English Studies 12 and Career Life Connections. Paper-based assignments will be evaluated for remotely located students outside of Creston.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach diverse online Humanities subjects for high school
• Engage students through the D2L/Brightspace interface
• Assess and report student learning metrics
• Develop course materials tailored to online delivery
• Offer constructive feedback to enhance student learning
Requirements:
• BC Professional Teaching Certificate required
• Proven experience in teaching senior high humanities
• Competency with online educational technologies
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to fostering an enriching learning environment
