Remote Part-Time Faculty in Family Law

Fanshawe College seeks part-time Faculty to teach in the Family Legal Services Provider Certificate Program. This remote role is designed for individuals passionate about legal education and student success.

Candidates should have significant family law practice experience and a relevant academic background, with a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. The position requires a blend of remote and in-person teaching, ensuring students receive essential legal instruction and advice from seasoned professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct and mentor students in Family Law courses

• Design and implement effective lesson plans

• Assess and evaluate student progress and understanding

• Foster an interactive classroom through discussions

• Adhere to curriculum standards and educational best practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of family law practice within Ontario

• Valid L1 License from the Law Society of Ontario

• Bachelor’s degree in Law; further education is a plus

• Previous teaching experience in higher education preferred

• Proficiency with educational technologies and online teaching
