Position: Online Teacher for Elev8 DESK Humanities
Elev8 DESK is hiring an Online Teacher for Humanities courses from June 8 to 26, 2026. This role involves teaching PHE 10 and other senior high subjects primarily through the D2L/Brightspace platform.

As a full-time educator, you will cover crucial humanities courses such as Explorations in Social Studies 11 and Law Studies 12. Familiarity with both online instructional techniques and paper-based evaluations is essential. Applicants must have or be eligible for a British Columbia Professional Teaching Certificate by the start date of the assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach essential humanities courses online using D2L/Brightspace

• Provide assessments for paper-based assignments sent from Creston

• Support students in their Career Life Education and connections

• Engage students in meaningful online interactions and learning

• Evaluate student work thoroughly and provide feedback

Requirements:

• Certified or eligible for certification in British Columbia

• Proficient in using D2L/Brightspace for online education

• Knowledge of senior high humanities curriculum

• Experience in teaching diverse learners online
