The University of Calgary is seeking a qualified Sessional Instructor for the Fall 2026 ACCT 323 course. This role involves teaching Managerial Accounting online with in-person exam requirements.
As part of the Haskayne School of Business, you will deliver engaging online lectures, manage student assessments, and ensure a high-quality educational experience. Aligning with the Course Coordinator will be essential for maintaining curriculum standards throughout the semester.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct interactive online ACCT 323 lectures
• Supervise in-person midterm and final exams
• Ensure alignment with curricular expectations
• Engage students in digital learning environments
• Provide timely assessments and feedback
Requirements:
• Relevant undergraduate degree required
• Must hold a CPA designation from Canada
• Prior teaching experience in a post-secondary setting
• Preference for those familiar with ACCT 323
• Experience with educational technology tools is a plus
