A well-funded AI research and development company is seeking candidates with strong mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of high school-level mathematics, particularly at the JEE level, and the ability to solve complex problems, explain solutions clearly, and work efficiently under time constraints.
What does day-to-day look like:
You would spend time-solving various advanced high school math problems, including those at the JEE level/Engineering Entrance Exam or Engineering College level, and creating detailed explanations. Here are a couple of examples of the types of problems you might encounter:
Solve a complex system of linear equations using matrices and explain the process step-by-step.
Find the area of a region bounded by a parabola and a line, using integration techniques, and explain the method in detail.
Solve challenging problems involving algebraic identities, permutations and combinations, and calculus, typical of JEE Advanced level questions.
Note:
A strong foundation in high school mathematics is required, but no other specialized domain experience is needed.

Mathematical Proficiency:
Strong skills in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus at the high school level or JEE level.
Problem-Solving
Skills:
Ability to approach complex problems systematically and creatively.
Explanation
Skills:
Capacity to break down solutions into clear, understandable steps.
Time Management:
Ability to solve problems efficiently and meet deadlines.
Commitment:
Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
Technical Setup:
Desktop/Laptop with reliable internet connection and necessary software for mathematical computations and online collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or related fields or candidates with exceptional math skills, even without a formal degree.
Experience tutoring or teaching high school or JEE-level mathematics.
Familiarity with JEE Main and Advanced exam formats.
Knowledge of mathematical software and tools (e.g., LaTeX, Google Colab) is a plus.
