Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

About This Role

Apley Wood Primary Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and committed HLTA to work 3 days per week (21 hours). The role requires a commitment to support children’s learning and a flexible approach to teaching.

  • Passionate about securing positive outcomes for children.
  • Highly motivated, organised, and flexible in the way you work to best meet children’s needs.
  • An effective communicator with strong relationships with children, parents/carers, and professionals.
  • Able to utilise planning and resourcing when covering a class.
  • Reliable, flexible, and willing to support the school in moving children’s learning forward.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Level 2 or above qualification in English and Maths.
  • Previous experience working effectively within a school setting.
  • Good standard of written and spoken English and a general understanding of Maths.
