You've shaped a transformative academic vision and held yourself accountable for the results. You've led decisively, not from the sidelines. And your engagement with learning science isn't superficial—you've created something tangible, produced measurable outcomes, and earned credibility to share that narrative publicly. If this describes your career, 2 Hour Learning is searching for its academic leader.
At 2 Hour Learning, we've developed a system in which students achieve twice the learning velocity in only two hours per day. This performance stems from AI-powered tutoring, mastery-driven progression, and a fundamental reimagining of traditional classroom design. The impact is measurable. We now require a leader capable of aligning execution across varied school implementations, elevating academic leadership standards, and serving as the public authority for a movement anchored in evidence-based learning science.
This position is not about academic abstraction. It is a leadership imperative. You will direct the academic strategy in operational terms, establish rigorous benchmarks, diagnose execution shortfalls, and develop elite teams to achieve concrete outcomes. You will convert our scientific principles into executable discipline and articulate this model's value to a global audience.
What You Will Be Doing- Developing academic frameworks that convert learning science into actionable directives for curriculum design, motivation architecture, and application interfaces.
- Conducting academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to guarantee school teams remain aligned, accountable, and outcome-focused.
- Integrating data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive academic ecosystem assessments that identify high-impact obstacles to accelerated learning and recommend targeted solutions.
- Ensuring strategic coherence through structured planning, continuous feedback mechanisms, and milestone oversight to sustain concentration on student learning objectives.
- Serving as the face of 2 Hour Learning in high-profile contexts—keynote presentations, policy discussions with Ministries of Education—to influence global perspectives on education design.
- Engaging in fragmented curriculum initiatives that fail to produce systemic impact.
- Producing theoretical research disconnected from measurable student outcomes or operational execution.
- Transferring accountability for performance to mid-level managers or external consultants.
- Depending on institutional reputation or conceptual frameworks to win over critical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Expand and refine 2 Hour Learning's validated academic model by harmonizing execution across school sites, reinforcing leadership benchmarks, and establishing yourself as the authoritative public advocate for a movement rooted in rigorous science and demonstrable results.
Basic Requirements- Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- At least 7 years in academic or EdTech leadership roles, leading a team of staff/employees (not an informal peer leader role, such as grade-level lead); you must have been responsible for hiring, monitoring performance, coaching, and making termination decisions.
- Experience driving learning outcomes for students and upholding student performance standards.
- Experience applying AI or emerging technologies to improve education, such as through personalized learning, adaptive learning, AI agents, etc.
- Experience managing academic teams of 50+ people (e.g., the teams you managed directly executed curriculum, instruction, or assessment).
- Experience interacting directly with students, teachers, or school leaders in a professional setting.
Education is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be. They’re tearing down the outdated one‑size‑fits‑all model and replacing it with AI-driven personalized learning that helps kids master academics in just two hours a day.
With students consistently ranking in the top 1‑2% nationally and the top 20% achieving an astonishing 6.5x growth, they’re proving that smarter learning is possible. At 2 Hour Learning, it’s talent and performance that matter.
