Position OverviewThe Diabetes and You Clinical Programme Coordinator is a clinically informed education and programme delivery role supporting the operational management, development and delivery of the Diabetes and You structured education programme across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Main duties of the job:
- Provide clinical insight and operational leadership to support safe, effective and sustainable delivery of Diabetes and You aligned to NICE structured education standards and QISMET requirements.
- Support delivery of patient structured education courses, educator forums and mentorship, Train the Trainer activity, programme reporting and evaluation, educator coordination, and ongoing development of educational content and resources.
- Work closely with the Education Lead, educators, Primary Care Networks (PCNs), practices and wider system partners to improve access, quality and consistency of structured diabetes education across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
- Combine clinical facilitation, workforce development and programme leadership, requiring the ability to work flexibly across education delivery and operational coordination responsibilities.
- Clinical background with experience in diabetes education or related field.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of NICE structured education standards and QISMET requirements.
- Excellent communication and team‑working abilities.
- Ability to work flexibly across education delivery and operational coordination responsibilities.
