7. Full-year salary is £28,598 to £29,540; pro rata salary for term time working is £24,590 to £25,408.

OverviewThis Cover Supervisor vacancy is an exciting opportunity if you have experience working with young people or are interested in a teaching career but would first like to gain valuable experience in the classroom.
About the roleIf successful, you will supervise classes while their teacher is absent, following the instructions left by the class teacher to continue the high-quality learning our students receive. The positive working relationships you establish with students will enable you to encourage them to engage in the planned learning activities and ensure that they behave well in class.
QualificationsThe successful candidate will be:
- Passionate about enabling every child to achieve to their full potential
- Motivated, confident and keen to learn to inspire and challenge students to succeed
- Hold at least 5 higher-grade (grade C and above) GCSE passes, or equivalent qualifications, including English and mathematics.
A teaching qualification is not essential but you should have previous experience of working with children/young people in an educational setting.
