This permanent, part-time role (6 hours per day) requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently online. You will assist students facing challenges with life skills and academic support, while collaborating with educational staff to ensure a comprehensive learning experience. Your involvement will be crucial in supporting diverse learning needs through adaptive strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work independently in an online delivery model
• Establish rapport with students and maintain calm collaboration
• Orient new students on classroom procedures and online learning
• Keep accurate student records of progress and goals
• Proctor exams and participate in parent-student-teacher meetings
Requirements:
• Educational Assistant Certificate or Diploma preferred
• Experience with learning or cognitive challenges beneficial
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
