Software Instructor (Part-time) – Graphic Design

AND Academy is a design upskilling venture launched by the Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD), a leading Design School in India. IIAD has recently transitioned into a UGC approved university - University of Design, Innovation & Technology (UDIT).
We offer remote, part-time Certificate and Diploma programs in Graphic Design, UX UI Design, and Interior Design. Our live, interactive sessions are developed to provide accessible, affordable, and industry-relevant design education to graduates and working professionals.
Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Part-time Software Instructor to join our academic team. This is a remote-working position. This role is focused solely on delivering tool-based software training in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Figma across our Graphic Design and UX UI programs. You will conduct weekly sessions focused exclusively on software training, support learner progress asynchronously on non-class days, and schedule additional tool-focused sessions when required to complement regular design teaching.
Key Requirements
Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and In Design
Competency in Video Editing
Ability to teach Figma will be an added advantage
Knowledge of AI-based tools (e.g., Mid Journey) is preferred.
Good communication and presentation skills, including proficiency in English language.
Ability to teach beginners with clarity and patience.
You must have your own computer system and internet connection to run these classes.
Eligibility criteria
Minimum 1 yr industry experience of working in Graphic / Visual Design Team OR teaching in a Design School / Software Training Academy.
Candidates with an educational qualification or formal training in design (B.Des. or B.A. Graphic Design, BFA qualification) will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct online live classes to teach graphic design software.
Run support and doubt-clearing sessions for students.
Create a structured software teaching plan aligned with the design curriculum - under supervision of Curriculum Lead
Maintain and update the LMS with instructions, demo videos, and learning resources.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Saturday (2 / 3 days a week as per academic timetable)
Class Timings: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Online) / Saturday 10AM - 2PM (Online)
Frequency of classes:
Average 2-3 days a week
Note*
* While the current requirement is for a part-time role, we are open to discussing full-time engagement as well. Full-time engagement will require in-person/ on-site working (not remote)
Since the role involves teaching online, you could be located anywhere in the country-candidates based in the Delhi NCR region would be given preference.
