RVS invites you to apply for a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Grade 3/4 Homeroom teaching position starting August 27 2026 to June 1 2027 at Discovery Trails Online School.

Discovery Trails Online School is located in the City of Airdrie and serves students from grades 1‑9. For more information on the online school, please visit the RVS website.

The successful candidate must be proficient in online platforms (i.e., Google Classroom, Moodle, Zoom). This position will require the successful applicant to attend in‑person meetings and events.

• Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible, you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education.
• New/Recent Graduates Only:
  In lieu of a reference letter please submit your final practicum report.
• Applicants must provide a professional letter of reference, on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months; or a list of updated references of a current/recent supervisor on your application.
• The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment.
