Role DescriptionWeir Training is seeking a full-time Qualified Apprenticeship Assessor to join our team. This hybrid role is based in Chobham, with flexibility for some work from home. The incumbent will assess and support apprentices throughout their learning journey, working closely with Employer Partners to align training with business needs, maintain accurate records, and uphold quality standards.
Responsibilities- Deliver tailored 1:1 support to apprentices.
- Conduct workplace assessments.
- Guide apprentices in their professional development.
- Ensure compliance with apprenticeship standards.
- Collaborate with Employer Partners to align training with business needs.
- Maintain accurate assessment records and manage scheduling.
- Uphold quality standards and regulatory requirements in apprenticeship delivery.
- Proven experience as an Assessor or in a similar role, with a relevant Assessor qualification (e.g., Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment).
- Strong knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards in sectors such as Business Administration, Customer Service, Hospitality, or Team Leadership.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring abilities.
- Organisational skills for managing assessments, records, and scheduling.
- Proficiency with digital tools and e‑portfolios to facilitate remote and on‑site assessments.
- Commitment to upholding quality standards and regulatory requirements in apprenticeship delivery.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to workplaces as needed.
- Experience in educational or workplace training environments is a plus.
