Rate: £1,450 per assessment on the basis that it will take 2 days (Inside IR35)
About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Educational Psychologists to support a Local Authority in the South East with the completion of statutory Education, Health and Care (EHC) assessments. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vital service supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Each assessment is expected to take approximately 2 days, and work will be allocated based on your availability. While face-to-face assessments are preferred, the service will also consider hybrid and fully remote candidates (rates may vary for fully remote delivery).
Key Responsibilities
Complete statutory Educational Psychology assessments within required time frames
Produce high-quality, clear and evidence-based psychological advice reports
Work collaboratively with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals
Ensure all work complies with statutory guidance and local authority standards
Manage your own caseload effectively to meet deadlines
Essential Requirements
HCPC registration (mandatory)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a UK local authority as an Educational Psychologist
Proven experience completing statutory assessments and writing EP advice
Ability to work to strict deadlines and manage a high-volume caseload
