Position: Flexible Online ESL Tutoring – Independent Contractor Role

As an independent contractor with The Faculty, you'll have the freedom to pick up classes when it suits you — teaching both children and adults using ready‑made lesson materials.

100% independent contractor role (remote)
Flexible scheduling with two‑week advance notice

What You'll Do

Teach engaging online English lessons to learners worldwide (kids & adults)
Use provided lesson materials — no prep required
Create a supportive, interactive classroom environment
Provide constructive feedback to help learners progress

Requirements

Matric certificate (degree is a plus)
120‑hour TEFL/TESOL certificate
Strong spoken and written English (neutral accent)
Confidence using Zoom and basic tech tools
Clear communication and online classroom presence

Tech Setup

Laptop/PC:
Ryzen 5, Intel® Core™ i5, Apple M1 or higher, 8GB RAM
Fibre internet: 25 Mbps minimum (LAN cable only)
UPS backup: 4–5 hours + mini‑UPS for router
Noise‑cancelling headset, HD webcam, quiet workspace
