Role Overview

Educational Research, within the School of Social Sciences, seeks to appoint a full-time Online Learning Support Manager to support students and staff with our thriving suite of online PhD programmes. Candidates should have good knowledge and relevant experience of supporting online learners, the development and maintenance of online learning programmes, preferably at Postgraduate level, as well as experience with platforms such as Moodle.

They should have awareness of issues related to developing accessible and inclusive learning resources and successful experience of working as part of a team in an academic setting. We encourage applicants from a range of backgrounds.

Qualifications
  • Good knowledge and relevant experience of supporting online learners
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of online learning programmes, preferably at Postgraduate level
  • Experience with platforms such as Moodle
  • Awareness of issues related to developing accessible and inclusive learning resources
  • Successful experience of working as part of a team in an academic setting
