Join NIDES for a temporary 1.025 FTE teaching role, focusing on Math and Science for students in grades 10 to 12. The position requires on-site attendance and a commitment to fostering a personalized learning environment. Successful candidates will leverage online tools, support students with I.E.P.s, and collaborate with fellow educators in developing advanced curricula.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and manage online courses and assessments
• Provide tutorial support for online students
• Adapt courses based on individual student needs
• Utilize D2L/Brightspace for course design
• Collaborate with teachers on curriculum integration
Requirements:
• Prior experience with asynchronous online teaching
• Advanced training in instructional technology
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion in education
• Strong grasp of online pedagogical frameworks
• Willingness to embrace district values and standards
