Academic, Education Administration
You've set a clear academic vision in the past and taken ownership of the results. You've led visibly, not from the shadows. When it comes to learning science, you're not experimenting—you've created something tangible, produced evidence of its effectiveness, and earned credibility to present your work publicly. If that describes you, 2 Hour Learning is seeking its academic leader.
At 2 Hour Learning, we operate a model in which students achieve twice the learning velocity in only two hours per day. AI-powered tutoring, mastery-driven progression, and a fundamental rethinking of traditional classroom design produce these results. Performance is exceptional. We now need a leader who can consolidate execution across varied school models, elevate academic leadership standards, and serve as the public advocate for a movement rooted in sound learning science.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Designing academic frameworks that convert learning science into actionable guidance for curriculum development, motivational architecture, and application design.
- Conducting academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to confirm school teams remain aligned, accountable, and outcome-driven.
- Integrating data, interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive academic ecosystem assessments that identify the most critical obstacles to accelerated learning and recommend concrete interventions.
- Ensuring strategic coherence through structured planning, feedback mechanisms, and milestone oversight to sustain focus on student learning objectives.
- Serving as the external representative of 2 Hour Learning at senior forums, including keynote presentations and meetings with Ministries of Education, influencing global perspectives on education.
- Working on isolated curriculum initiatives that fail to produce systemic impact.
- Producing theoretical research disconnected from student outcomes or operational execution.
- Transferring performance accountability to mid-level managers or external consultants.
- Depending on institutional reputation or conceptual arguments to win over skeptical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Expand and strengthen 2 Hour Learning's validated academic model by consolidating execution across school sites, raising leadership performance standards, and serving as the authoritative public voice of a movement anchored in rigorous science and documented results.
Basic Requirements- Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- At least 7 years in academic or EdTech leadership roles, leading a team of staff/employees (not an informal peer leader role, such as grade-level lead); you must have been responsible for hiring, monitoring performance, coaching, and making termination decisions.
- Experience driving learning outcomes for students and upholding student performance standards.
- Experience applying AI or emerging technologies to improve education, such as through personalized learning, adaptive learning, AI agents, etc.
- Experience managing academic teams of 50+ people (e.g., the teams you managed directly executed curriculum, instruction, or assessment).
- Experience interacting directly with students, teachers, or school leaders in a professional setting.
Education is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be. They’re tearing down the outdated one-size-fits-all model and replacing it with AI-driven personalized learning that helps kids master academics in just two hours a day.
With students consistently ranking in the top 1-2% nationally and the top 20% achieving an astonishing 6.5x growth, they’re proving that smarter learning is possible. At 2 Hour Learning, it’s talent and performance that matter.
They offer a dynamic, on-campus and remote-friendly environment where innovators, educators, and AI specialists can be a part of fixing a broken school system.
