Role Description The Online Tutor at Glecta will provide live, interactive lessons to students, ensuring concepts are explained clearly and in an engaging way. Responsibilities include planning and delivering subject-specific sessions, assigning and reviewing homework, and tracking learner progress against defined goals. The tutor will clarify doubts, offer regular feedback, and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and levels. Daily tasks also involve maintaining accurate records, coordinating with academic coordinators.

Qualifications

- Strong subject matter expertise in the relevant teaching area(s) (e.g., mathematics, science (physics, chemistry, biology), English, computer science, economics, and business studies school/college subjects).
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms and adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms, digital whiteboards, and basic educational technology tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clear, neutral, and professional language use.
- Proven organisational skills, including lesson planning, time management, and systematic tracking of student progress.
- Patience, empathy, and a learner-centred approach, with a commitment to creating an inclusive and respectful learning environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, the relevant subject area, or a related field; teaching certifications or tutoring experience is preferred.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Rohini and maintain a consistent schedule, including possible evening or weekend sessions as required.
