Introduction to International Studies online in Fall 2026. Engage students in global issues and provide foundational knowledge in an interdisciplinary format.
As an instructor for IS 100-397 at the University of Regina, you will lead this online course covering world geography, history, and various political and economic systems. Your responsibility includes delivering lectures, preparing materials, and grading assignments while fostering an inclusive learning environment for students interested in international studies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver the course content online to students
• Hold one office hour weekly for student interaction
• Prepare instructional materials before the course starts
• Complete grading tasks post-course termination
• Maintain a focus on cross-cultural perspectives
Requirements:
• MA or PhD in International Studies or related field
• Teaching experience at the post-secondary level
• Record of effective teaching in relevant subjects
