£25,305 – £28,195 per annum, pro-rata (No teaching qualification held)

£29,018 - £44,227 per annum, pro-rata (Teaching qualification held - level 5 or equivalent)

Responsibilities
  • You will inspire students to appreciate and enjoy Equine Management, instilling in them a passion for the subject and a desire to develop their understanding.
  • You will be required to have experience in delivering practical Equine Husbandry skills and specialisms in Equine Science and Management related topics.
  • You will be a personal tutor, advising and guiding individuals in their progress, success and career aspirations during group and 1:1 tutorials.
  • You will be responsible for the undertaking of assessments, marking and monitoring learner progress.
Qualifications
  • You will be willing to complete a teaching qualification, if not already qualified.
  • You will have a degree or equivalent in relevant subject area.
  • You will hold a minimum qualification of Stage 3 Coach / BHSAI preferable (or equivalent), with strong practical equine knowledge.
  • You will demonstrate the ability to be a highly motivated lecturer, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • Experience of providing tutorial support to students is advantageous.
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK.
