Qualified Tutor - Holbeach

Location: Holbeach

Remedy Tutors is looking for a compassionate and experienced Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS) to provide 1:1 face-to-face tuition for a young person in Holbeach.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference by delivering personalised education within the student's home. All sessions supervised by an appropriate adult.

The Role

* Hours:

2 hours per day, Monday to Friday (10 hours per week)

* Availability:
Sessions to take place between 9am to 3pm

* Setting:
Home-based, face-to-face tuition

You will be delivering a personalised curriculum with a focus on:

* Maths

* English

* PSHE

Learning objectives can also be embedded into other subject areas where appropriate, based on the student's individual needs. Tutors will be expected to work towards EHCP outcomes wherever possible.

About the Student

This student is a thoughtful and capable young person with a keen interest in computing, gaming, art, music and practical, hands-on learning. They respond well to visual and kinaesthetic teaching approaches.

The Ideal Tutor Will Have

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) - essential.

* Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, anxiety and school avoidance.

* Experience delivering personalised, 1:1 tuition.

* Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.

* The ability to adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles and interests.

* A patient, empathetic and resilient approach.
