Position: BSc Professional Accountancy Online Tutor (Project Supervision)

The Role

We are accepting applications for Online Tutors with a specialist background in academic Project supervision to support the online BSc Professional Accountancy programme. Enthusiastic and motivated individuals with experience in higher education and distance learning are required.

Responsibilities

Online Tutor tasks include proactive support to students via the Virtual Learning Environment; marking summative assessments and providing detailed feedback. Tutors will work closely with Module Leader, Programme Director, and Programme Manager.

Module Specification

Project Supervisor (60 credits). The module involves identifying a research issue, conducting guided in-depth individual research, and effectively communicating findings. Tutors support students through a range of research methods and methodologies relevant to accounting.

Remote.

Employment Type:

Self‑employed contractor.

Salary: £4,215.24 flat fee for a group of approximately 20 students on the Project module. Assessment marking is paid separately with the fee for first marking of final submission at £40 per coursework assignment.

Candidate Profile

Motivated individual who enjoys working with students and is driven to support student success.

Experience working in a Higher Education Institution and holding an accounting or related qualification at Postgraduate level.

Visa sponsorship not available; must not be on a student visa.
