Foundations of Math Teacher - Online Learning

Become a key part of School District 71 as a Foundational Math Online Learning Teacher for Grade 11. Leverage technology to create a personalized education experience.

This anticipatory position is a 0.90 FTE role, starting as needed until June 30, 2027. Candidates must have direct experience and certification in online teaching, specifically in secondary math curriculum. Responsibilities include utilizing platforms like Zoom and Brightspace to create engaging learning experiences while supporting assessment practices for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach online Grade 11 math courses using effective technology

• Maintain an inclusive and structured learning environment

• Document and support assessment for learning strategies

• Offer tutorial assistance in both online and face-to-face formats

• Develop and enhance innovative online courses

Requirements:

• Certification in online learning and experience in math

• Strong skills in learning management systems

• Ability to accommodate diverse learning needs including I.E.P.s
