Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Online Tutor who is passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals and build confidence in their learning?

Reeson Education is recruiting a skilled Online Tutor to deliver high-quality virtual tuition to learners. This role is ideal for an experienced education professional who can provide engaging, personalised online lessons and support students in reaching their full potential, particularly those requiring additional support to close learning gaps and improve attainment.

About the Online Tutor Role

As an Online Tutor, you will work directly with students on a one-to-one or small-group basis, delivering tailored online learning sessions that meet individual needs. You will help learners overcome barriers to education, improve attainment, and develop confidence across core curriculum subjects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Virtual Tuition Delivery:
    Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one and small-group online lessons tailored to the individual needs of each learner.
  • Targeted Academic Support:
    Identify learning gaps and implement effective teaching strategies to improve attainment, progress, and examination readiness.
  • Student Engagement:
    Build positive relationships with students through interactive online teaching that encourages motivation, confidence, and active participation.
  • Progress Monitoring:
    Assess, track, and record student progress, adapting lesson plans and intervention strategies where necessary.
  • Collaborative Communication:
    Maintain effective communication with parents, carers, schools, and other professionals to support positive educational outcomes.
To Succeed
  • Previous experience tutoring or teaching students within an educational setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and an understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and digital literacy skills.
  • The ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and abilities in an online environment.
  • A patient, supportive, and professional approach to education.
  • An enhanced DBS on the updated service, or willingness to apply through Reeson Education.
